A Faster & Better Estate's Communication A Mobile SMS Service is first introduced to the managed estates of Well Born Real Estate Management Ltd including La Cite Noble, King's Park Hill, Casa Marina I & II, Regence Royale and Metro City I for sending urgent estate's message or notice to owners and residents.

The mobile SMS service is efficient and environmental friendly.

The mobile SMS service is tailor-made for the management team to send urgent messages to occupants¡¦ mobile phones via computer. Especially when the unexpected happened, for example, emergency fresh/salt water suspension or blackout etc, SMS is sent to notify the affected owners and residents as soon as possible. The SMS service can also reduce paper consumption which is compliance with the objective of environmental management in Well Born.

Henderson Sponsors Sowers Action in Lunar New Year Fair Stall

The Henderson Land Group has always been committed to community activities. This year, a number of lunar new year fair stalls were allocated to the ¡§Long March for Education¡¨ of the Sowers Action. A charity sale of plush stuffed dolls Chang Chang and Jing Jing was held to raise fund on improving the foundation education in China and financing the children from poor mountainous counties to return school. Visitors were generous to offer their support. The result for the fund raising was promising.

Well Born Real Estate Management Ltd Wins the First Price in the Scarf-Knitting Programme 2003

Well Born Real Estate Management Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Henderson Group, won the first price in the Campaign Evergreen - Scarf-Knitting Programme 2003 organized by the Social Service Department with a record breaking 3821 scarves knitted from over 1800 scarves in 2002, showing a great enthusiasm of Well Born¡¦s volunteers. They will continue the good works and attain a more remarkable achievement.

Henderson's Estates Wins the Hong Kong Eco-Business Awards for the 4th Consecutive Year

Mr. Suen Kwok Lam, the general manager of the property management department, receiving the Hong Kong Eco-Business Gold Award (Green Property Management) from Dr. Sarah Liao, Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works

The Metro City Phase I, a managed estate of Well Born Real Estate Management Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Henderson Land Group, won the 2003 Hong Kong Eco-Business Gold Award (Green Property Management-Private Housing) and held the honour of being the four times consecutive winner. The Hong Kong Eco-Business Awards are organized by the Environment Protection Department and Environmental Campaign Committee, in collaboration with Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Hong Kong Productivity Council.

The head office of Well Born Real Estate Management Ltd was awarded the 2003 Hong Kong Eco-Business Certificate of Merit (Green Office) along with its two managed estates. Casa Marina 1 was awarded the Certificate of Merit in Property Management and the Beverly Hill was awarded the Certificate of Merit in Best Environmental Reporting. Beverly Hill was also awarded the Certificate of Merit in Green Property Management. Flora Plaza, under the management of Hang Yick Properties Management Ltd, another wholly owned subsidiary of Henderson Group, was awarded the Certificate of Merit in Green Property Management.

Well Born Real Estate Management Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Henderson Group, won the Corporative Service Team of the Year 2003 for the second consecutive year in 2003 Customer Relationship Excellence Award. The CRE award is a prestigious award, which is a great honour for the service industry as the winning service teams have to undergo a strict procedure of public web voting and assessment from the judging panel.

Hang Yick Wins the Outstanding Security Guard Awards

Hang Yick Properties Management Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Henderson Group, won lots of awards in the Outstanding Security Guard Awards organized by Yau Tsim Mong District Fight Crime Committee. Mr. Yuan Zheng Wan(Shun Fai Building) received the Outstanding Security Guard Award. Mr. Lam Chiu Ngai (Fortune Court), Mr. Mak Chi Yiu (Hang Kong Centre) and Mr. Chow Kwok Kwong (Beverly Commercial Building) were awarded the Certificate of Recognition. The awards are the evidence that Hang Yick excels others in management quality, gaining occupants¡¦ confidence to its services.

Sunshine City Wins Four Awards in Planting Competition

Hang Yick Properties Management Ltd takes an active part in green estates campaign. In early 2003, the team visited flower market in Guangzhou. A scheme of direct purchase of rare flower species from the Mainland China was formulated to enhance gardening quality of estates. Later, the scheme was confirmed. Two of Hang Yick's managed estates, Sunshine City and Park View Garden were chosen for piloting. 2200 pots of flowers including Belgium azalea, African marigold, salvia splendens, cineraria, impatiens were introduced. Sunshine City won four awards including Overall Championship in Ma On Shan Estates Azalea Planting Competition for the blossoming Belgium azaleas. Today this scheme is carried out in most of the Hang Yick's managed estates, making a refreshing change in the garden of each estate.
